About Pure Biohacking
The Australian biohacking hub: a free directory of places to sweat, plunge and recover, and plain evidence grades for the practices Australians search for.
What it is
Pure Biohacking tracks the techniques, tools and supplements people in Australia search for most, and checks each one against the best research available and the Australian regulator.
The directory
Listings are free and editorial. A venue is listed when a named Australian publication has reported on it, and its facilities are shown as that publication described them, with a link. No venue pays to be listed, ranked or featured, and none ever will. The directory lists bathhouses, saunas, ice baths, infrared, float and recovery studios. It never lists prescription-only medicines, injectable peptides, IV drips or clinics selling them.
How the evidence is graded
Each guide leans on systematic reviews and meta-analyses found on PubMed, which pool the results of many trials, and on the Therapeutic Goods Administration and the Department of Health for Australian rules. The grade on each guide follows the reviews’ own certainty ratings where they give one. Single studies, animal studies and testimonials do not raise a grade.
How the searches are measured
The index uses monthly Google search volumes for Australia, measured through DataForSEO on 3 October 2026. They show interest, not quality.
Who writes it
The guides are written by Nadia Ross, the pen name of the site’s editor.
Corrections
If a guide is wrong or out of date, the site wants to know. Each guide shows the date it was last checked and links every source, so you can read the evidence yourself.
